• Valid consular registration card.

• The form duly completed, dated and signed, to be collected from the consulate or downloaded
• Photocopy of the 1st ^page of the expired passport
• Spanish residence card or Spanish national identity card for people with dual nationality or for children Minors, under 19 years of age the same for adults.
• Proof of residence in the consular district of Alicante.
• Proof of activity.
• Two (02) identical identity photos.
• Payment of chancery fees of 60 € for adults and 30 € for minor children or students on the basis of presentation of a valid university education certificate.
• The original of the 12S birth certificate of the person concerned plus a copy for people who renew a biometric passport issued by a diplomatic or consular post other than the Algerian Consulate in Alicante.

There are several types of biometric passport application templates:

- 1st ^issue ;

- Renewal of which old passport less than 6 months old;

- Renewal loss or theft;

- Renewal (valid/saturated passport);

- Renewal of a damaged passport by its holder;

- Deterioration: Additional tax of €100;

- Loss: the additional tax is €100 + €2 for the declaration of loss.

Regarding emergency passports :

In accordance with Article 2 of Executive Decree No. 16-58 of 03/02/2016, establishing the conditions for establishing and issuing the emergency passport.

According to the said decree, the emergency passport is issued on an exceptional basis, for the benefit of our nationals not registered with a diplomatic or consular post, whose file for the regularization of their administrative situation, in the plan of stay, has been accepted. by the Spanish authorities and requiring a valid emergency passport, must be more than 04 months old.

Emergency passport issued to nationals registered in another diplomatic or consular post victim of a theft on Spanish soil. In this case, they are issued an emergency passport to return to Algeria.

Emergency passport also issued to nationals registered with our services, as part of a trip to Algeria (his biometric passport did not reach our post for various reasons).
