General conditions :

Nationals registered with our Consulate, who justify an uninterrupted stay of at least three (03) years on the date of the request for change of residence (CCR), wishing to return permanently to Algeria can import duty and tax free . customs officers:

1. The objects and effects composing their household furniture, intended for their personal use, of their spouse and minor children living under their roof abroad;

- The wife will be able to benefit from CCR in the event of the death of her husband, she will become principal instead of subsidiary.

2. A new passenger vehicle or a new commercial vehicle or a new two-wheeled vehicle, subject to registration.

- Never have benefited from a certificate of change of residence in Alicante or in another diplomatic or consular post;

 

In accordance with the laws and regulations in force:

• The vehicle must be new and introduced in Algeria within one month.
• The presence of the holder is required during customs clearance formalities.
• The move must be made within six (06) months from the date of establishment of the CCR.
• Chancery fees and taxes are forty (40) euros (Finance Law 2018). They are increased by 04 euros per 100 euros of declared value. Students and trainees benefit from a 50% reduction in these fees.

The CCR request is processed within a week working day, must be submitted on Tuesday, the withdrawal no later than Friday, the presence of the person concerned is mandatory (submission and withdrawal)

 

Conditions for admission of duty-free vehicles :

• the engine capacity of the vehicle must be equal to or less than 1800 cm3 for petrol engines and 2000 cm3 for diesel engines. The total laden weight of the utility vehicle must be equal to or less than 05 tonnes 950 kg.

• The two (2) wheeled vehicle must be submitted for registration.

Important:

Pleasure boats, sea scooters, zodiacs, quads and other craft are subject to the payment of duties and taxes.

Conditions for obtaining the CCR :

• be over 19 years old.
• be registered at the consulate as a principal.
• Never have benefited from a CCR from a diplomatic or consular post, neither in his own name nor in that of the spouse.
• Justify of a regular uninterrupted stay of more than three years abroad on the date of submission of the file.

Documents to be provided before the final agreement:

For employees :

• a handwritten request addressed to the Consulate.
• Valid consular registration card.
• A work certificate and payslips covering the last three (03) years.
• Photocopy of the first pages of the valid passport.
• Spanish residence card or Spanish national identity card with dual nationality, front/back copy.
• A declaration on honor attesting that the person concerned has never benefited from a CCR from another diplomatic or consular post, including Alicante.

For non-employees :

• a handwritten request addressed to the consulate.

• Valid consular registration card.

• Photocopies of the first pages of the valid passport.

• Spanish residence card or Spanish national identity card with dual nationality, front/back copy.
• A declaration on honor attesting that the person concerned has never benefited from a CCR from another diplomatic or consular post, including Alicante.

For students and interns :

• a handwritten request addressed to the consulate.
• Valid consular registration card.
• university certificates or internship certificates covering the last three years.
• Photocopies of the first pages of the valid passport.

• Spanish residence card or Spanish national identity card with dual nationality copy
• both sides.
• A declaration on honor attesting that the person concerned has never benefited from a CCR from another diplomatic or consular post, including Alicante.

 

For traders :

 

• a handwritten request addressed to the consulate.
• The trade register and a photocopy of each page.
• Valid consular registration card.
• Cancellation of entry in the commercial register and a photocopy.
• Photocopies of the first pages of the valid passport.
• Spanish residence card or Spanish national identity card with dual nationality, front/back copy.
• A declaration on honor attesting that the person concerned has never benefited from a CCR from another diplomatic or consular post, including Alicante.

For retirees and pensioners :

• a handwritten request addressed to the consul.
• Valid consular registration card.
• Photocopy of the first pages of the valid passport front and back.
• Spanish residence card or Spanish national identity card with dual nationality, front/back copy.
• A declaration on honor attesting that the person concerned has never benefited from a CCR from another diplomatic or consular post, including Alicante.

After agreement, the file must be completed with the originals plus photocopies of the following documents:

For the vehicle: the vehicle must be new ww

– The provisional registration certificate (address in Algeria).

– The vehicle purchase invoice;

– The certificate of conformity.

For furniture and personal effects, the encrypted inventory in duplicate, including the vehicle.

Maximum value admitted, including the vehicle:

– The equivalent in euros of 4,000,000 DA at the exchange rate in force for students and trainees.

– The equivalent in euros of 5,000,000 DA at the exchange rate in force for other nationals.

Goods exceeding the thresholds, referred to above, are admitted to customs clearance exempt from the formalities of the control of foreign trade with payment of the duties and taxes payable.

 

Note :

 

Customs clearance formalities for personal effects in the context of change of residence (CCR), including the vehicle, must be completed by the beneficiary himself. Proxies are inadmissible.

RADIATION

In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 02-405 of November 26, 2002 relating to the consular function, in particular Articles 26 and 27, the removal from the consular registration registers is carried out in the following cases:

- Death.
– Permanent return to Algeria Certificate of change of residence (CCR).
– Change of the consular district of Alicante to other diplomatic and consular posts.
– At the request of the person concerned. He must obligatorily sign his request by handing over his expired or valid consular registration card.
– Absence for more than 10 years, the administrative file will be automatically archived at the post.

– By receiving messages from the DGACCNE, requesting the removal of the national from the file of the consular post in Alicante. The striking off of the registration registers leads to the striking off of the electoral list (revision of the ordinary annual electoral list or exceptional revision), presidential or legislative elections
