CONSULAR FILE TRANSFER

The transfer of the consular file is necessary in the event of a change of place of residence outside the consular district of registration. The transfer request must be made to the Consulate covering the place of the new residence, which falls within the consular district of Alicante for example.

Nationals newly settled in the consular district of Alicante are invited to provide our services with the following documents for the transfer of their files:

• Application form duly completed, dated and signed to download
• the consular card established by the consulate holding the file or photocopy of the passport.
• Spanish residence card or national identity card for citizens with dual nationality.

• A recent proof of address issued by the Spanish local authorities .

It is important to note that any changes in personal situation (profession, marriage, divorce, marital status) must be brought to the attention of the Consulate services.
