On behalf of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Ataf, represented today in London, Mr. President, at the coronation ceremony of King Carlos III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and his wife, the Queen.
Minister Ataf also participated, representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the celebrations organized for the accession to the throne of the new British monarch.
Algeria's participation in these ceremonies is part of the strengthening of historic friendship, political dialogue and economic cooperation between the two countries, which celebrated last November the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.
On the sidelines of this occasion, Minister Ahmed Ataf met with the British Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. James Cleverly.
