Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf received, on Tuesday, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alibek Bakayev, who is visiting Algeria as part of the second session of the bilateral political consultations.
On this occasion, the two sides applauded the bilateral relations dynamic, thanks to the decision of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to open an Algerian embassy in Astana in 2022.
They further commended the willingness of the Kazakh authorities to open an embassy in Algeria soon.
The meeting allowed the two sides to discuss ways to boost bilateral cooperation and expand its fields according to the means of the two countries, particularly through high-level visit exchanges, establishing a joint commission and enhancing the bilateral legal framework.
